Windows 10 continues to grow, acquires 21.13% OS share
According to the latest data
of netmarketshare.com windows 10 claimed 21.13% of desktop OSs share, which is
01.99% more than that of previous month. In July 2016 Windows 7 loses its
02.04% users and Mac OS is still losing and stops at 07.87%. Interestingly Windows
XP and Linux are growing little bit.
Windows
10 - In June 2016 Windows 10
had 19.14% desktop users. But now Windows 10 gets success to acquire 21.13% desktop
users which is 01.99% more than that of June 2016. According to Microsoft, Windows 10
has been installed on over 350 million devices, which is pretty awesome. Windows
10 was claimed to have 18.43% OS market share in May 2016 and it grew 00.71% in
June 2016. If we compare the data of previous months, it results that Windows
10 enjoyed 01.99% users in July and 00.71% in June 2016, which is 01.28% more
than last month.
Windows
7 - Windows 7 is still on the top. The most famous
computer OS, Windows 7 had 49.05% PCs in June 2016 but now Windows 7 has lost its
02.04% users and still remains on the top with 47.01% market share. Windows 7
has 47.01% users, which is a large number of users and I think in next one year
Windows 7 will remain on the top of the desktop operating system.
Mac - Apple Mac OS is not doing well. Mac OSX El Captain held
04.93% OS share in June 2016. But now it has only 04.69% users. Mac OSX El Captain
lost its 00.24% users. Mac had 08.19% costumers in all its versions in June
2016. After losing its 00.32% users, Mac has only 07.87% users.
